So far my book has shared space with authors Suzanne Collins, E.L. James, Danielle Steele, Emily Griffin, Daniel Silva and now, Lee Child! (Still FREE until 3 a.m. Eastern Time.)

“I’m not good at future planning. I don’t plan at all. I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow. I don’t have a day planner and I don’t have a diary. I completely live in the now, not in the past, not in the future.”
In honor of Amelia Earhart Day and because aviation played a positive role in my life, Sister of Silence is free today and tomorrow; it’s working its way up the chart as I type!
In the past week, the number of reviews has doubled to 63. There are 40 likes. Can you add yours, please? Thank you!
Why? Because SOS went from #2 (free list) last weekend to #776 (paid) today.
I feel like Amanda Hocking or Darcie Chan or maybe even J.A. Konrath, and I certainly can’t sleep now. It climbed to #80, hit #43 and shows no signs of slowing now at #20!
From midnight tonight until 11:59 p.m. Monday (PST) my e-book, “Sister of Silence,” is free at Amazon. I’m calling it a Memorial Day Special, in honor of the women who have or are fighting another kind of war.
Even if you have already read it, please download a copy or gift one to someone who needs it.
Please download it in honor of Shannon Stafford, Lori Dodson and Leslie Layman, the three Preston County women who died from DV in just three weeks here. (For more info, see my website, but realize this does not count the murders in the other 54 WV counties.)
We may not eradicate DV, but I really believe we can make a difference, and the fact that Sen. Rockefeller has invited me (and others) to a roundtable meeting to discuss what can be done next week shows that people in positions of power recognize something needs to change.
Out of courtesy for the tons of people I’ve included in this email, please do NOT reply to it. If you want to contact me, just email me privately at email@example.com.
Thank you, very much!
PS: If you don’t have a Kindle, that’s okay. Amazon has a free app you can download, so you can then read any of their e-books on your iPad, iPhone or computer.
We’ve had three deaths in three weeks, in this sleepy little area of West Virginia. Leslie’s was the latest.
‘Justice for Shannon Stafford’ Group Protests Walmart Murder
Preston County resident Shannon Stafford 29, was murdered by her father-in-law last week at a Morgantown, W.Va. Walmart. Now nearly 1,500 people—200 of whom just signed up today—want justice for her and her two-year-old daughter, Faith.
